Search by Keywords:

Enter up to six sets of words below with "AND/OR" combination for searching. Each set can be empty or contain multiple words. You may "Copy & Paste" the words from the bible. The search is not case-sensitive; just enter either upper or lower case letters.

The data in each set also follows the general standard rules of Regular Expression. For example, to search for the two words "first" and "last" with any other words in between, the pattern is "first .* last".

See the details and examples in the Search Guide.

For "Book and Chapter Search" you may enter the Chapter Number and Verse Number and then press "Go".
If that does not exist, then it will display the last chapter and verse in the book.

    Chapter:     Verse:

Number of Verses:

Note: The chapter and verse numbers of some ancient versions are quite different from versions used nowadays. The comparison is based on the contents rather than by the verse number. Therefore the chapter and verse numbers of the ancient versions may appear out of sequence.
